Boat Kittens”

2007 april 7

(512) 402-9725

These young cats were found as a litter of seven, aboard a boat that was delivered from Houston, to South Austin Marine, in August 2006. All are playful and affectionate. They can be adopted separately or together.

Victor has a wide “M” on his forehead, with distinct lines above it. Notice the wide horizontal bar in the middle of the “M”. His feet are darker than Solace's, and he is bigger.

Victor loves to play games, chasing a small toy on a string, or searching under a blanket propped up like a tent. He loves contact with people most of the time, and will even climb on the shoulders of his favorites, but is sometimes aloof and seems to be contemplating . He is gentle, although he's a large, robust-looking cat. He enjoys the company of his sister. He will tolerate being picked up by someone he knows.

Solace has less distinct lines above the “M” on her forehead than Victor, and is pale brown. She is smaller than Victor.

If seen among a crowd of cats, she may appear shy, but among a smaller number she is very affectionate and playful. She is an expert at the game of “card toss” and has been known to fetch a toy. When not playing, she often reclines elegantly, on a flat surface such as the top of a filing cabinet. When petted, she either prances around, or if lying down, stretches with deep enjoyment. She has a loud purr.
